  • InkRepublic Epson R1900, R800 and R1800 ink system - by Gregory Leary
(Greg Leary Photography, Merritt Island High School)

"... Once your inking system was installed, I knew I had found the right solution. Great looking prints, and no more cartridges; plus the bulk inking system has been a tremendous savings. I estimate that one 4 oz. bottle of bulk ink is saving the program $100 over the equivalent cartridges, and that is for only one color! Thus, each full replacement order of bulk ink is saving over $800 in replacement cartridge costs. Based on the number of prints we are doing per year, I estimate we will save $3500 to 4000 per year in ink costs..."

  • Review of InkRepublic P800 i-Refill System - by Marco Laurita
"I'm an inkrepublic customer since 2011 when I bought an Epson Stylus Pro 3800....After printing for 5 years and about 12000 pages the Stylus pro 3800 started having problems so I decided to replace it with a new printer. I decided for the Epson Surecolor P800... Very happy with system, even I've never try other systems on the market I recommend Inkrepublic one for the following reasons: 1) High ink quality and print quality. 2) Easy to install. 3) Easy to refill, no need to remove the tanks from the printer, just open the tank cap and fill the ink. 4) Real ink levels inside the tanks always visible, no risk to run out of ink. 5) Resettable maintenance tank....."

  • Review of InkRepublic R1900 i-Ink2 System - by Jack Liebig
"Since I've purchased and installed my InkRepublic Continuous Ink System for my Epson R1900 printer, I've enjoyed perfect fine art photography prints with flawless operation. The best part of using this system is that I don't worry about running out of ink and money for ink cartridges. Instead of being a slave to my printer's large ink appetite and tiny cartridge capacities...."

  • Review of InkRepublic Artisan 50 i-Ink2 System - by Steve Mathieu
"Most of us learn at a young age to be wary of things that seem "too good to be true". Multi-level marketing companies, no exercise fad diets, and email business opportunities from Nigeria all come to mind. When I first heard about continuous ink systems that promised to cut the cost of ink by 95% or more without sacrificing quality, I was obviously skeptical. As an amateur photographer, I am well aware of the printing tradeoff between convenience and cost. Because of the high costs of OEM ink, it has generally been cheaper to have high volume printing done professionally...It's official; you can have your cake and eat it too. As of this writing, I have printed nearly 20 8x10 full color photos and probably another 50 4x6 photos and the provided ink bottles are still completely full. And based on other user reviews, I expect to be able to print hundreds if not thousands more pictures before I will need to replace a single bottle. Try that with your OEM cartridges. The best part though, I actually enjoy printing photos again. I no longer dwell on how much ink one of my large..." Click here for more detail (6 pictures included)

  • Review of InkRepublic R280 & R260 i-Ink2 System - by Mike Sokol
"Since I generally print about 2,000 postcards per week along with an additional 500 envelopes and 500 letters on the R260, ink cost was a huge factor. I found out very quickly that the cost of the Epson brand ink cartridges was prohibitive, and which also required almost constant changing at my printing rates. I then found a generic source for ink cartridges, but while the price was about one-third of the Epson brand, I was still losing a lot of time replacing empty cartridges...The cost of the ink from you is now about 1/10 the original cost of Epson cartridges, plus I only swap in a new bottle of ink every week or so. Once installed there has been zero problems with the i-INK system, even though it's printed over 200,000 postcards, envelopes, and letters so far..."

  • Review of InkRepublic R1900 i-Ink2 System - by Martin Weigel
"I print in high volume, going through several 1000 13x19" sheets a year and I have tried quite a few things in the past...I am a first time InkRepublic customer and my purchase decision for the R1900 was in large part based on independent reviews in various forums about InkRepublic as a source for an R1900 CIS system..In my experience, printing multicolored 13x19" prints with heavy graphics, one can expect at the least app. 200 prints before replacement ink is needed. Your mileage may vary as this all depends on the involved graphics and choice of paper etc. I am using Premium Photo Luster Paper...All of this is solved with InkRepublic's system. The inks are excellent and fairly true to original specifications"

  • Review of InkRepublic CIS For The Epson Stylus 1290 - by Chris Nicola
"... I am a serious amateur photographer and use my Epson Stylus 1290 printer to print photographs, letters, and personal designs made with Corel Draw 11 and other programmes. I previously used to refill the cartridges with bulk inks but was disappointed that air bubbles and foam frequently caused problems with the printouts after refilling a few times. I wanted something more reliable, and so I decided to obtain my first CIS..."

"I have been a long time Ink Republic ("IR") customer. I was one of the first to buy the IR CIS when the Epson R800 first same out... The I-Ink 2 system is even better than the original in that the yellow and magenta inks seem to flow smoother..."

  • Review of InkRepublic R260 i-Ink2 System - by Jeff Naatz
"...The inkrepublic Dampers install very easily just press until they kind of clunk onto the ink ports...the new o-rings seal perfectly and inkrepublic.com has spent the time to improve this feature from previous models made years ago when they first started doing CIS so that people will not have problems removing the damper again...Well it's been a couple of weeks since I installed this system and I would never go back to cartridges.."

  • InkRepublic Epson R1800 and R800 CIS system - by Soren Coughlin-Glaser Photography (Portlandphotographer.com)
"The following is a review of my experiences with the Ink Republic Continuous Ink Supply system with my R800 and also how the system migrated to my R1800 ... I was very interested in getting a high volume and affordable bulk ink system for my R800. I am a wedding photographer and had decided to print out high quality proof books for all of my clients. The cost in Epson cartridges would cost me close to $80 a book and was keeping me from getting started ..."

  • Review of InkRepublic Epson 2200 CIS Unit - by Jon Dokken

  • Review of InkRepublic Epson 1270 CIS Unit - by James Gunning
"... So far the system has worked flawlessly. I am using it with Glossy pigment ink and a custom profile for the ink and printer. I travel frequently and as a result the printer sometimes sits unused for extended periods of time. I have had perfect nozzle checks the first time, each time I have started the printer. That is a huge improvement over the modified Epson cartridges I was using. I have already experienced some ink saving due to not having to do multiple cleaning cycles to get all nozzles firing..."

  • Review of InkRepublic Epson R200 bulk ink system - by Brandon Staggs
"...Well, it's been a little over two months and several hundred printed discs since I installed the CIS. And it's working great, and none of my bottles are even half used up."
"...I've received a few emails from people coming across this review and asking me about other CIS systems that cost less. Basically, from what I have read, it seems that many of the cheaper systems use inferior cartridges (made with sponges) that can fail or damage the printer, or may have problems with air in the ink tubes. All I know for sure is that I am quite pleased with my InkRepublic ink system. It may help to think of it in terms of loss: If you get at least $80 worth of prints out of a CIS before it fails, then you really haven't lost anything, even if your printer is damaged. This Epson R200 is basically disposable anyway ..."

  • Review of InkRepublic Epson C86 bulk ink system - by J.A. Boyd
"...The whole damper probably holds enough ink for just a few prints, but its purpose is to consistently deliver the ink, not hold it, and the damper performs this task very well....But things so far have been so trouble free that I am beginning to think once again about blissful printing."
